The internet is a part of our world now, but there are so many ways that we find ourselves in trouble. It’s time to learn how to build an online platform safely and avoid the various hidden traps.
In this session, we will:
- assess physical and internet security and how activities online could be adversely impacting on that security;
- discuss the different components commonly included in a platform and how to manage the security and time pressures of those sites without going coo-coo;
- discover the true costs associated with a custom domain and how to keep protect private contact information; and
- learn about the benefits of different social media platforms and how to cross-post without looking like a person who can’t complete a sentence.
We’ll even explore the benefits (and negatives) of blogging.
This session is NOT about marketing or how to build a following, but rather a look at how to keep yourself, your family, and your reputation safe.
