The Professional Editorial Standards (PES) is a publication of Editors Canada that helps inform professional development, hiring decisions, educational and training curricula, professional certification and more. The newly adopted PES has important additions and expansions. This two-part series will introduce you to all that’s new in the revised standards. Each webinar will examine the new standards, the thinking and purpose behind them and how they work together to help define and guide the essential work that editors do across different industries and organizations; fields, subjects and genres; materials and mediums.
